At Dunlop Adhesives we believe manufacturer/stockist interaction to be vital in maintaining strong relationships. With the backing of the Dunlop brand, we launch several initiatives each year. These allow us to engage with stockists and for stockists to engage with their staff and customers.

Running during the last quarter of 2009, Professor Dunlop’s Brainbox was an on-pack promotion launched as a “Dragon’s Den” for the trade. We wanted new product ideas, problems we could potentially solve and even suggestions on how we could improve with the best entry winning a laptop and runners up winning promotional t-shirts and mugs.

Our online training initiative was launched in May 2009. Designed to be a useful resource to merchants stocking the range, we are now working with several stockists to offer incentives to staff that sign up and successfully complete the course. Professor Dunlop & Microban®

Professor Dunlop & Microban®

Dunlop Adhesives joined forces with Microban® to develop an innovative range of adhesives, grouts and finishing products. It uses one of the world’s best anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agents to protect against unseen nasties like E. coli, Salmonella and those that cause mould and mildew.

Professor Dunlop can be found on all products with Mircroban® along with additional support materials such as posters to promote the special range of products.

Sporting Year 2008 & 2009

For two years Dunlop Adhesives has run annual promotions for users of Dunlop Adhesives, giving them a chance to win VIP trips to three key sporting events of that year. From Grand Prix, to Premier League Football and 6 Nations Rugby, the promotions have always proved popular.

In 2008 Dunlop Adhesives offered merchants an incentive to get users entering with promotional POS, but most importantly, a prize to the stockists where the most entries were received to help promote Sporting Year in store.

For Dunlop Adhesives, your point of view matters and every so often we launch customer surveys to canvass opinions of merchants. Last time we offered a small incentive to post your surveys with the launch of an on-line Grand Prix game. Known as the Dunlop Adhesives 2008 Grand Prix, the customer research exercise also gave participants the opportunity to win the latest IPOD Shuffle and a Nintendo Wii.
